Our Mission

We maximize the impact of independent filmmakers.

We believe the gap between a film being made and a film being seen is an infrastructure problem, not a quality problem. We are building the infrastructure.

FOUNDER
CREATIVE PRODUCER

Maroun Najm founded CULTSCALE to answer a single question: Why do brilliant films fail? The answer wasn't quality. It was infrastructure.

Drawing on 15 years of scaling media ventures, Maroun builds the systems that allow independent cinema to scale. His background in media, film and technology provides the framework for replacing the lottery of distribution with the certainty of intelligence.

Beyond the infrastructure, Maroun operates where story meets strategy. He champions narratives that challenge cultural fault lines. He works closely with filmmakers to ensure their creative risks land with maximum impact. He does not just back them. He engineers their path to the audience.

Why We Exist

Independent filmmakers are the lifeblood of cinema. They take creative risks, tell urgent stories, and push boundaries. But they operate in a broken system where gatekeepers control distribution, information is asymmetric, and timing is arbitrary.

We exist to tilt the odds in favor of the artist. By replacing the lottery of distribution with the certainty of infrastructure, we turn a system of chance into a system of skill.
